About this book
What if, instead of humans travelling to alien worlds, the Earth itself became an alien planet? Driven from a surface overrun by spores that spread madness, people live half-lives in underground cities. Yet Taerin longs for the surface more than anyone, because someone once told her about the colours of sunset and the shimmer of the stars. Then, shortly before her dispatcher examination, she begins to hear a strange voice. A novel by Kim Choyeop, praised for its “hauntingly beautiful” gaze on existence.
