About this book

That teenagers no longer read has become a familiar diagnosis. But is the problem really that they do not read, or that they do not know why they should? This book begins with that question. Its teenage author collects reading notes on fifty-six classics read in middle and high school, reflecting on humanity and justice, freedom and responsibility. It shows that reading is not a trick for raising grades but a force that changes the direction of thought and one’s attitude to life.

About the author
