About this book
Publion’s first book appeared in the spring of 2020, just as people began to keep their distance. Trend analyst Kim Yong-seop reads “uncontact” not as temporary social distancing but as a long-held desire finally made visible: the preference for convenient disconnection over uncomfortable contact, brought to the surface by the pandemic. In three parts — everyday life, business and community — the book uses cases and data to show what changes, from how we shop and work to religion, politics, dating and social relationships.
